Amazon Kindle How-To Series: Five cool things you can do your Kindle 2
You spend an afternoon relaxing to read an eBook on your new Kindle 2 e-book reader and thought you strike – "I need to check my e-mail to see if I heard from my daughter!" Now normally, that means you have to stop reading, put down your Kindle and check your e-mail account on your computer. But if you have a Gmail account, you can read and answer e-mails directly from your Kindle!
First, go to your Kindle integrated into the basic web browser (Web Home> Menu>> experimental basis). Then make sure Javascript in your browser Kindle is enabled (Browser> Menu> Settings> Enable Javascript). Finally, go to the Gmail address Internet (Browser> Menu> Enter the URL> www.gmail.com), enter your user name and password.
IMPORTANT – use Gmail's standard Web and non-Google provided the URL in the default folder Add to Favorites Kindle. If you try access your Gmail account from the URL in your Kindle, you will be prompted to load an application from Google. Applications can not be loaded onto your Kindle so it does not work – you must use the URL above in order to use your Gmail account.
